The AVM Fritz!Box 7270 is an all in one Phone System for Home and Small Businesses, incorporating a Wireless Router and a DECT Base Station!

The Fritz!Box 7270 is a VoIP device for calling over the internet and also a Wireless ADSL Router for connection to the Internet.  There is a connection for two analogue corded telephones/ fax machines, one analogue phone line, four LAN ports, one ISDN Phone port and one USB port.  Up to six DECT Telephone Handsets can be paired with the AVM 7270 and up to ten SIP accounts can be configured.

The AVM 7270 can be used with any SIP based IP Telephone and also with most DECT cordless telephone handsets.  It is perfect for use with the Fritz!Fon Cordless IP Phone.   Up to six handsets can be registered to the Fritz!Box 7270 base:

Q.  Can I pair the RTX Repeater with the Fritz!Box 7270

A.  Yes you can.  Enable Repeater Support in DECT Settings on the Fritz!Box and follow the RTX instructions for Manual Registration.  Repeater Mode on the Fritz!box is obtained by pressing the DECT button on the top of the unit for 10 seconds or more.     In order to obtain dial tone on the S685ip paired with the Fritz!Box 7270, you will need to press the off hook button for several seconds.
