Are there extra costs associated with making International calls, or are all calls covered by the purchase price of the S0-10?
Using the S0-10 to make International calls is NOT included in the sales price, and you may incur additional fees, such as Internet service and the SkypeOut rate.
Can I use the S0-10 in foreign countries?
Yes. You can use S0-10 anywhere that has access to the Internet in a broadband environment.
What network environment or configuration is required for the S0-10? Will it work with any online environment?
The S0-10 supports many different types of broadband Internet settings, to suit different configurations that exist in the office or home network environment. The following broadband network configurations and settings are supported by the S0-10, from which you can choose according to the network environment: (1) DHCP Dynamic IP Setting, (2) Static IP setting, (3) PPPoE Discovery (Floating IP mode), (4) PPPoE Discovery (Static IP mode).
Is the S0-10 only capable of Chinese and English display? Does it also display in other languages? I have contacts in many different countries, won’t this cause some problems with contact information?
The S0-10 Skype Contact List supports display in many different languages for your contacts from all around the world, whether it is in Traditional or Simplified Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish… etc., the names of your contacts will be displayed correctly. In addition, the S0-10 supports the display of special characters and symbols.
What is the language for the S0-10 operating interface?
Currently the S0-10 operating interface provides a choice of Traditional or Simplified Chinese and English.
What is the purpose of the USB port on the S0-10?
The USB port was designed to make SO-10 upgrades accessible with a universal format (USB). Please check the website on a regular basis for updates
