RTX Dect Repeater

The RTX DECT repeater is a generic repeater that allows you to pair up to GAP compatible phones. This repeater will be able to extend the range of your cordless phone signal. It's simple to use as there's no wiring required, just plug it into the mains and register to your phone base station. The Phone must be GAP compliant, if the phones have a best base or repeater mode you will get full compatibility

The RTX4002 DECT repeater is compatible with DECT GAP telephones and will work with most common brands such as Siemens, Panasonic and most BT.

Please note that it doesn't work with Philips chipsets

The RTX4002 is designed in accordance with the Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) standard. The RTX4002 has two internal antennas which extend the effective range of most standard DECT GAP base stations. The repeater then automatically assigns itself the first available RPN number.

Once registered to the base station, the repeater can be turned off and brought to its fixed/specified location. If more repeaters have to be assigned to the same base station, the procedure just has to be repeated. The repeaters automatically keep track of the next available RPN number.

A total of 6 repeaters can be assigned to each DECT GAP base station. The number of assigned repeaters has no influence on the number of handsets that can be registered to the base station. The RTX4002 measures only 120x130x35 mm and can easily be mounted on walls The RTX4002 software features the new unique automatic registration method.

This registration method allows the repeater to automatically assign itself to any given DECT GAP base station. For the end-user, this means that the relatively long and sometimes complicated registration procedure is now obsolete. The user simply places the repeater in close proximity to the base station (within 2 metres), opens the base station for registration and turns on the repeater.
