RTX Dect Repeater

A DECT repeater can be deployed where required as a DECT cordless phone signal extender to increase limited coverage or improve reception in remote areas.

Not all DECT Phone Repeaters are created equal. In order to maximize improvements to the DECT telephone's operational ability (whether increased range, improved reception, or both), it is important to select a range of repeaters, which are solidly engineered, technically superior and capable of delivering significant operational enhancement.

The RTX4002 DECT repeater is compatible with DECT GAP telephones and will work with most common brands such as Siemens, Panasonic and most BT.

Please note that it doesn't work with Philips chipsets

Why choose the RTX DECT Repeater?

The RTX4002 DECT Repeater is designed in accordance with the Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) standard. This type of repeater (WRS Wireless Relay Stations) is intended for use in residential, business and public DECT applications based on the GAP profile.

The RTX4002 has two internal antennas and can be used to double the effective range of a DECT Base Station. And, in addition to increased range, RTX's repeater can ensure seamless intercell handover from the area covered by the base station to the area covered by a repeater, and vice versa. It is also possible to register multiple repeaters (up to a total of six) to a single base station, thereby extending coverage range and reception quality even further.

Further more the RTX4002 Repeater uses a new, automatic registration method. With this new method, the repeater automatically seeks and acquires the DECT/GAP base station that emits the most powerful signal. This means that the repeater installation has been simplified to Plug-and-Play.
